Worship Services

The Covenant Community gathers for worship each Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.  Our liturgical service begins in the Sanctuary with scriptures, music and sermon biblically based on the Revised Common Lectionary Bible reading plan. Seasonal services that follow the lectionary are offered at other times of the year – Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, for example. Additional services during Advent include the Hanging of the Greens and a Lessons and Carols service. Worship music is provided by the Covenant Choir, the Covenant Handbell Choir, and the Covenant Chamber Orchestra.

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is served seven times during the church year, and because Presbyterians have open communion, all who profess faith in Jesus Christ are welcome at the Lord’s Table regardless of church membership or denomination.

As we join our voices in praise and adoration of God, we welcome people of all ages and backgrounds. Upon arrival visitors are greeted by our outreach and hospitality workers. Refreshments and coffee are available before and after worship in the parlor so that we may share fellowship time with our guests and friends.  You are invited to attend, and see if this is where God is leading you to worship and serve.
