Seekers Class
We're traveling through the book of Acts of the Apostles. Along the way we use our Bibles, several reference and teaching materials, map, time lines, and videos to take us back to the 1st century in the Roman empire. The people we meet are like none other - heroes, martyrs, bad guys, authors, preachers, the sick and the healers.
All adults are invited to experience God's story. No prerequisites are required. The class meets Sundays, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in Room 3. Teacher for this study is Mary Helen Hite.
- February 26: A Video overview of the early church produced by PBS is the basis for this week.
- March 4: Starting with Acts 10, we'll go with Peter where God leads us.
- March 11 & 18: Moving with the disciples further from Rome opens up the Gospel to the non-Jewish world.
- March 25 & April 1: Our studies will prepare us for Easter Sunday.
